Description
This project has an integrated vision of coastal coastal dune juniper shrubland conservation with local, national, and transboundary objectives, so it has areas of action on two different scales:
- Coverage area

National and cross-border scale (Coverage Areas) - corresponds to all eight Natura 2000 Special Areas of Conservation in mainland Portugal where the 2250* habitat is present, namely Peniche Santa Cruz (PTCON0056), Sintra-Cascais (PTCON0008), Fernão Ferro/Lagoa de Albufeira (PTCON0054), Arrábida/Espichel (PTCON0010), Estuário do Sado (PTCON0011), Comporta-Galé (PTCON0034), Costa Sudoeste (PTCON0012) and Ria Formosa/Castro Marim (PTCON0013). In addition, other cross-border territories will be evaluated by the International Scientific Committee for replication actions, namely in Spain, Italy and Greece.
